What we collect and why

Synergy is a music networking beta managed by Michael Persall. Access requests collect your name, email, phone, work, goals and any links you provide so we can review access and help you get started. Community requests collect your contact details, organization, source type, optional documentation link and pilot goal.

When you text Synergy, we store your conversation context, profile, introduction decisions and delivery history to operate the service. We also keep verification records and limited request information for access control and abuse prevention. Don’t submit passwords, payment details or confidential material you don’t want processed by the service.

What other people see

Requesting access does not publish your profile. Matching is optional. Joining suggestions shares the profile fields explained in the texting consent prompt. Work links and additional notes currently stay private in the pilot. Phone numbers stay private and are used to communicate with Synergy, not shared with other members. Email introductions require both participants’ agreement.

Authorized Synergy operators can review applications and access operational records to run and support the beta. Community organizers do not receive access to your private conversation. Community administration screens in the demo use fictional data.

Services that help Synergy run

Vercel hosts the website and private records. Photon delivers messaging. OpenAI processes conversation context when generating AI replies. The messaging worker stores operational records on a private server. Each provider also handles data under its own terms.

If you choose to connect Google, Synergy verifies your email identity and stores encrypted access credentials. Calendar access is a separate, optional permission. It does not request access to read your Gmail inbox. Automatic booking and rescheduling are not available yet. You can disconnect Google in your portal.

Resend sends request receipts, approval instructions and mutually confirmed email introductions from Synergy. No marketing subscription is created by requesting access. External MCP or directory connections need separate review; submitting a source does not authorize a member import or outreach.

Control and retention

Use PROFILE to review your context. PAUSE hides you from matching; STOP pauses text replies and suggestions until you send START. These commands retain your history and are not deletion requests.

Beta records are retained while operating and supporting the service; automatic expiry of all profile and conversation records is not implemented. To request a copy, correction, deletion or withdrawal of an application, email micky@strikingventures.com. We’ll verify your identity before handling account requests and explain any records that need to be retained.

The website uses essential cookies for sign-in and Google connection security. This beta is intended for adults. Please contact us if information about a child has been submitted.
